Will the Quantum Realm’s secret city introduce new villains in Avengers: Endgame? Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6
We were first introduced to the Quantum Realm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2015’s Ant-Man – and we’ve since revisited it in 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Given what we know about it, we’re now expecting the mysterious subatomic plane to play a major part in this year’s Avengers: Endgame – courtesy of the fact that it will enable the MCU’s heroes to traverse time in order to undo what Thanos did in last year’s Avengers: Infinity War.
But could it play an even bigger part in the movie? Could it be that it provides the MCU with a new villainous threat?
That’s what this theory suggests!
It’s based on the idea that a city-like image was seen in the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man & The Wasp. The city in question looked a lot like a city called “Chronopolis” in the comic books – and that just so happens to be the home of Nathaniel Richards, who is otherwise known as both Immortus and Kang the Conqueror.
Richards is a time-travelling villain, so it totally makes sense to have him appear in a movie that will undoubtedly have time-travel as one of its key themes (given that the MCU’s heroes will be trying to undo everything Thanos did in Avengers: Infinity War).
